Ramon's Coffee Kiosk

Totally amazing place to go for a casual coffee. Good Americano and delicious carrot cake. Plenty of seating places outside. Enjoyed the atmosphere!

This was the first cafe where I had food/coffee on Netherlands soil! Was just roaming on road, looking for place to have a cup of coffee, and I found this one. Person on the counter was very nice to me. I did had change, guess what, he offered me a free coffee. Location just nice to have coffee with friends or even if you are alone. Was in that area for shorter time, but managed to visit after few hours, but with some this time. Coffee and brownie was excellent.

Ramon has a great spot, with tasty coffee, a smile and good conversation. Open early (earliest around by far) and through lunch, a perfect place to relax on a nice day. Solid morning pastry selections and a delicious looking set of ciabatta sandwiches for lunch.

We stumbled upon Ramona’s Coffee Kiosk while staying nearby at a boathouse—just a quick 5-minute walk—and what a delightful surprise! This charming little spot instantly became a highlight of our trip. We tried several cakes, including the banana, orange, and the standout rosemary cake—which was absolutely out of this world! I’ve only ever had rosemary in savory dishes, but in cake form? WOW. So unique and bursting with flavor. Even more impressive, they kindly made omelettes for my children (even though it wasn’t on the menu), and my 4-year-old loved it so much she ate two! That kind of warmth and accommodation goes a long way. There’s a cozy outdoor seating area overlooking the water, and we enjoyed some lovely conversations with other guests while sipping coffee and soaking up the calm, local atmosphere. I stayed in a hotel nearby and was looking for a good coffee place and found Ramon’s Kiosk on Google Maps. The coffee was really good and also loved the fresh squeezed orange juice. The avocado and Serrano ham sandwich was delicious. I ended up coming for breakfast every morning. The service was amazing and the owner was really friendly. It was nice seeing the repeat customers, mostly locals with their dogs and people on their way to work. I found the price to be quite reasonable for a better quality and service than the places in the city center. I highly recommend this place.
