Weekday mornings are the quietest
Rude people, wet dirty floor and broken fridges. I will not more throw my money in this place, jumbo it's near.
The kassa girl was really rude, agressive, negligent and incompetent. What a bad service
This Vomar is one of those supermarkets that quietly does its job really well. Prices are fair, which already puts it ahead of a lot of other options in Amsterdam. I donβt leave feeling like my wallet was personally attacked. Big plus for the paid parking lot β not free, but worth it if youβre doing a proper grocery run and donβt want to play βfind a parking spaceβ for 20 minutes. In and out, done. The selection is solid: good produce, decent bread section, all the everyday basics covered, plus some fun seasonal stuff that somehow ends up in my basket every time. The store is generally clean, organized, and easy to navigate β no maze-like layout designed to test your patience. Could they have more specialty or organic items? Sure. But for normal, no-nonsense grocery shopping, this place delivers. Bottom line: Fair prices, easy parking, good location, and no drama β which is honestly exactly what I want from a supermarket.
A pretty decent Vomar and much cleaner than other ones Iβve been to. If you want a change from zuutzuur pickles, the Polish section has some proper pickles. Start importing some Gazpacho and Iβll be your loyal customer until the end of my days.
As far as grocery stores in NL go this one is super functional and well stocked. This raisin brandy thoughβ¦
