Nana

Nana’s was a great breakfast/brunch spot we found less than 10 minute walk from our hotel. The staff are lovely, it’s very nicely decorated, and the food is delicious and fresh. The tram taking you back into central Amsterdam stops right outside too so super convenient. We came here 3 times over our 4 day stay and would recommend to anyone staying locally!

Food we orderd was great,served warm and appealing. Asked for a menu in English if you can't read Dutch. Love tbe high ceiling which lets light in and creates much headroom for tall people.(though I am not).

We stopped at this cafe for lunch. The service is good and fast. There are places to sit both inside and outside. The food is very tasty and everything arrived hot. The coffee is wonderful and very strong.

I swear this is the best breakfast in Amsterdam. We have been here about a week, and are compulsive restaurant go-ers when we travel, so we’ve tried just about every place within walking distance. Once we came to Nana’s we just simply could not go anywhere else. The food/coffee is great for a very reasonable price, the servers are sweet and attentive, and the ambiance is just lovely. It’s a very well decorated and warm restaurant. AND (for Americans specifically here) they don’t charge for still water- you don’t have to ask for it either, it’s at every table. It’s right next to the tram station too, so easy to get in and out before a long day. Truly if you can pop in to eat here, it is absolutely worth it. 💛

Such a nice place, it's very cozy perfect for the rainy weather! Love all their food, sandwich moos is amazing. Especially love their sweets, they are freshly baked everyday and are one of the best homemade sweets I've had in Amsterdam. The carrot cake and cookie is especially good!
