Motion Coffee

Super cute and cozy cafe on a busy street. Once inside you don't even notice the busy atmosphere outside. There's a cute resident cat too. I love the apple pie they serve on Saturdays.

Love this café! It's super cosy, even when the weather is gloomy outside. The owners are very kind, and bake fantastic cakes (special mention to the apple pie, available on Saturdays). It's a nice place to come even on your own also, to read a book, have a nice coffee / tea / cake, and say hello to the cute cat. 100% recommended :)

To provide context for the review below mine: This person was not a customer and is in fact a trespasser. She was asked to leave because she refused to order anything and was harassing other customers (us). In addition to our table - which she had occupied without invitation - she had placed her suitcase on another customer's table, so it was removed. She also refused to leave until the police had to be called. I was meeting some friends here this morning, and had stepped away from my seat to pick up my drink. The woman with the large suitcase came into the cafe and took my seat. My friends informed her the seat was taken but she refused to move. She then placed her large suitcase on another empty table so no one else could sit there. The cafe owner asked her to move her suitcase because it was blocking other customers. She refused, and when the owner said he will move her suitcase for her, she said 'I would like to see that.' This was the point when he took her suitcase outside and asked her to leave (the first time). She had not ordered anything and was apparently not going to order anything either. She went outside, dragged her suitcase back inside and came back to sit at our table. My partner then also asked her to leave (the second time) but she refused. She ended up sitting at the cafe for almost 3 hours - still without ordering anything - until the cafe told her they were going to call the police. We were finally able to get rid of her after this third attempt. Intruders are not uncommon here because there is a mental health facility and homeless shelters nearby, but they usually only harass customers sitting outside on the terrace. It's a bit surreal to have one actually come in, and then leave a defamatory review 3 hours later.

Nice place, friendly atmosphere, excellent coffee. There is a cat living there, which makes this place seem especially cozy
