Monks Coffee Roasters

Tucked just around the corner from where we were staying, we made the grave mistake of waiting until our last morning to visit. We wish we hadn't! This spot delivered, without a doubt, the best coffee we found in Amsterdam (and we tried at least five places!). The freshly baked scone and the incredible, low-sugar jam were an equally pleasant and unexpected surprise.

Cozy locale with the sweetest owner ever. I visited in the morning and asked for a regular, oat latte. Barista knew what she was doing and made an excellent drink. As i finished my drink i was checking out what beans to buy home and the owner kindly helped me pick out some beans thats worthy to try. We had a lovely conversation and overall, what a nice experience for someone visiting amsterdam for the first time! I highly recommend Monks Coffee Roasters, especially as a coffee enthusiast like myself. I will be back soon!

I didn’t expect the food size would be that big!😍 though usually I don’t eat cheese, it was delicious and I ate it all. The service is very warm, another good spot for grabbing a coffee, reading a book and have a homemade food😊

A coffee place with a feminine touch situated in the middle of Amsterdam. It has a quote from T. S. Eliot claiming he measured his life in coffee spoons. This coffee shop deserves a thousand spoons. I asked for a Caffe Latte, which was well done, and a pastry. I don't remember the name, but they described it as banana cake without the banana. Congratulations.

We walked in here and were able to find a table for 4 on a Saturday. I had a Wu Tang; scrambled eggs, avocado, caramelised onions, bacon, two large pancakes with butter, and blueberry sauce. It was a delicious and very filling breakfast. Especially the pancakes were pretty good.
