Kiosk:Rembrandt Van Gogh

This little kiosk is right near the hotel we’re staying at and it turned out to be a great find. It’s a perfect spot for a quick breakfast and excellent value for money, especially considering local prices. It’s also right by the museums, so it’s ideal for popping in for a snack after sightseeing. The waffles and coffee really hit the spot.

If Van Gogh needed caffeine instead of ear bandages, this would’ve been his spot. Kiosk Van Gogh is a small but mighty stop with great coffee—the kind that makes you pause mid-sip and reconsider your life choices (mostly why you didn’t order a second cup). Fast service, friendly vibe, and perfectly located for a pre- or post-museum caffeine fix. It doesn’t pretend to be fancy; it just delivers solid, reliable coffee when you need it most. A quick stop, a strong brew, and zero existential crisis—well, maybe just a tiny artistic one.

We just had two sandwiches at Kiosk Rembrandt Van Gogh in Amsterdam and they were absolutely amazing. 🥪✨ The homemade tuna sandwich and the ham and cheese one were both fantastic. Not only did they heat them up for us, they even removed the tomato and rocket beforehand so the bread wouldn’t get soggy. Such clear dedication, quality and attention to detail. The chai latte was delicious and the service was brilliant. ☕💛 We sat at the little tables in the sunshine and everything was perfect. If I could give them 10 stars, I would, but Google Maps won’t let me. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Update November 2025: Nutella Banana-nana-nana!! I mean, what's not to love. Love this place, the food, drink and the people. Do yourself a massive favour and just pay them a visit (every day of the week and twice on Sunday!). You'll have zero regrets; Update September 2025: just gets better and better, in my humble opinion, and why I keep on coming back time after time. Tried a waffle for the 1st time today - the Nutella Banana one, see picture attached- and was well worth the wait. Extremely delicious! Like Nike says, 'just do it' and go here. You will not be disappointed! Update January 2025: still, by far, my favourite outdoor place to grab a coffee and snack here in 'Dam. Top food and snacks but it's the staff that make the place what it is. Just go. You won't regret it! UPDATE May '24: still - by far - my favourite place to come outside for koffie, cookie and chill. Great tasting products, calming location and AMAZING staff (who make it all happen, let's face it). OLD: This place - and the staff especially - are just utterly superb! I deliberately come by whenever I'm in the neighbourhood. Highly recommend you make a pit stop to see these guys and say hi (and eat and drink their great goods of course!)

Nestled in between the Van Gogh Museum & Rijksmuseum is this wonderful shop to rest, get a drink, & some tasty snacks. This was honestly one of my favorite places that I visited in all of Amsterdam. What a cute little shop with fun decorations! My girlfriend and I are still dreaming of the waffle from here! The coffee was perfect as well. Service was also very friendly!!
