I had brunch two times until now at Karavaan. Highly recommend the shakshuka and the falafel flatbread. The falafel was hands down the best one I have tried. This is a nice bar overall. The service is good and the staff are generally quick and friendly. The place itself is super big, so there’s plenty of space and it doesn’t feel cramped, especially during the week. It can get ultra busy on weekends, so be prepared for a louder, more crowded atmosphere if you go then. During the weekdays, though, it’s really nice and relaxed – much easier to find a spot and enjoy your drink without the chaos. Nothing overly fancy or unique, just a good, reliable bar with decent service and lots of room. Worth a visit, especially on weeknights.

The service here is impressively fast, easily among the quickest in Amsterdam, so you’ll never wait long for your food or drinks. The location on charming Kwakersplein with its large sun drenched terrace makes it a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy your meal. Benjamin was incredibly helpful and always ready with friendly recommendations throughout our visit. Overall, a fantastic place with great vibes, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Our favourite restaurant when I’m visiting my daughter. We both always order the same meal, poached eggs with avocado on toast. As well as the avocado on the toast there is 1/2 and avocado. The eggs are soft and delicious. The staff are always very helpful, friendly and attentive to our needs. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

The food was delicious and we went there for brunch with my friends. The service was a bit slow, but it wasn’t an issue for us. The place has a lovely atmosphere, both inside and outside, and it’s a great spot to enjoy a relaxed meal. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely come again!
