We only visited this place for a function that took place there to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Treesistance (the movement) which the owner of Mandelahuisje sponsored. The place is really cozy and the location is just fantastic across “het Ei” which is the waterway between north Amsterdam and Amsterdam centre. I’m definitely coming back someday, maybe to sleep in the very romantic suite they have! It’s easy to get there and free with a small ferry that runs between Amsterdam Noord and Amsterdam Central station.

We spent one night where we also booked a full body massage with Ubuntu, which is next door. Although we spent just 24 hours here, we had a feeling we went on a mini vacation. The massage was awesome and the experience of staying in the Glass House, especially at night, feels magical. In the morning we were served a lovely breakfast. Great experience. Not cheap but would definitely recommend it.
