Ferment Wine & Coffee bar

100% recommend! We made the mistake of coming here on our last night in Amsterdam, and wished we'd discovered it sooner. It's a bit off the beaten track but well worth it, a real hidden gem. We tried 4 wines off the menu and all were excellent. The cheese board, olives and toastie were delicious. It's worth mentioning that we only went in for a glass of wine and ended up staying and ordering more and more because we were enjoying ourselves so much. The man on the bar was so lovely and helpful with recommendations, he created such a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We actually crashed a private birthday party without realising at first, but they even came over to say hello, welcome us, and tell us how much they liked it there. 5/5, loved everything about it, planning to go back for coffee in the morning 👍

Amazing spot to explore a wonderful selection of natural wines. My favorite was a French Pinot Noir, and we got to try 4–5 different styles. The staff help you find a unique glass that matches exactly what you're looking for. The food is also delicious. The cheese with jam and onion marmalade was great, served with their homemade sourdough. We finished with a coffee, which was prepared to a very high standard. The atmosphere is super friendly, and the team is always open to conversation and happy to hear your thoughts about the dishes and wines. They also have a great beer list that covers a wide range of styles and strengths. I think it’s the best place in the district to start your day with coffee and pastry, and end it with a glass of wine.

Great selection of wine and tapas. Especially the orange wine! i have tried many types of orange wine before, but the one they offer here is just something else! highly recommend to try if you’re fan of orange wines. Also onion spread is yummy. Waitress was super friendly and helpful!
