Dear members of Feestcafé De Natte Theedoek, From experience, we know that great reviews rarely come naturally, and that the organizers usually invest more time, effort, and self-sacrifice than many would like. In a time when divisions sometimes seem greater than the bill at the end of the evening, we realize all the more that we need to connect with each other. On behalf of Verdwaalsteeg, we'd like to reach out to help reconnect (perhaps over a barley smoothie or something stronger). If this idea resonates with you and you're open to it, we'd love to hear from you. Best, Jasper Sociability Expert Verdwaalsteeg 4
What an amazing experience!
Well, where do you begin… The atmosphere? Unforgettably vague. Around noon, everything started to fade away a bit, literally and figuratively – thanks in part to the free beer that suddenly seemed to be coming from everywhere. People danced, people fell, people… found each other. The bar wasn't just for drinks, it turned out. Let's just say: it was multifunctional, and some connections went beyond small talk. There was passion, there was courage, and no bra had a long lifespan. The pole dancers? Original in their approach, daring in their execution. You sometimes wondered if it was still part of the program, or just an impromptu audition for some obscure talent show. But it worked. Remarkably: despite the party's name, there wasn't a tea towel in the toilet. Was that a metaphor? Or have we all collectively forgotten something? Who knows. In short: the wet tea towel didn't dry anywhere. And perhaps that's precisely the point.
