βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ A Taste of Kerala in the Heart of Amsterdam. This evening we had a wonderful dining experience at Dot In, a truly authentic Kerala traditional restaurant in Amsterdam. From the moment we entered, the ambience felt warm and welcoming. We were a group of around 8 people, including kids, and everyone enjoyed the food immensely. We ordered kerala porotta with beef roast, and the beef roast was absolutely outstanding β very aromatic, perfectly spicy, and full of traditional Kerala flavors. We also tried the pazham pori roast, with beef β the combination was simply superb. In addition, we had prawns curry and chicken kurma, which were equally delicious and well prepared. The food was not only delicious but also very nicely presented. A special highlight was the palm toddy, a traditional Kerala drink β it was amazing to find such an authentic touch here in Amsterdam. The customer care was excellent, very friendly and attentive, especially considering we were with kids. We also had the pleasure of meeting the creative force behind Dot In, which made the experience even more special and personal. Overall, it was a memorable dinner with authentic flavors, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. I would highly recommend Dot In to everyone who wants to enjoy real Kerala cuisine in Amsterdam. We will definitely be coming back!
The Food tasted exceptionally good! Did not expect to find such an authentic taste of Kerala cusine here in Amsterdam. We had ordered Beef with Parotta and Fish Pollichattu with appams which was cooked to perfection. Shinoj served us well and made us feel like home. As a Malayali myself, would totally recommend folks visiting Amsterdam to try this!
I visited this restaurant during one of my business trips, and as a Malayali, I can confidently say this place is not to be missed. The dishes are truly authenticβdonβt miss the banana fry with beef; itβs such a wonderful combination. The staff are very friendly as well. If I remember correctly, Sanoj, who works there, is especially warm and welcoming.
You are in for a treat!! Excellent delicious food. The portion sizes are really substantial so donβt be thrown off by βsmall platesβ. Expect to wait for service and the food because itβs made to order and coconut milk takes time to simmer - but when it arrives and youβre fed, youβll be already planning your next visit back! Must tries: pineapple curry!!
