Dam Good Coffee

I'd been searching for the ultimate bean for my Jura machine for two years. In that search, I tried quite a few dark roasts—some excellent, others more meh—and finally ordered this coffee from DAMN GOOD COFFEE with a voucher. To be honest, I was initially a bit hesitant to move away from the "big, safe brands." But now I can only say: what a discovery. I previously read a review comparing this coffee to Douwe Egberts. To me, that makes as much sense as comparing a Dacia Logan to a Lamborghini Urus. Yes, both have four wheels (or in this case, contain caffeine), but from the first sip, you realize you've landed in a completely different class. Where DE gives you a proper drive to the supermarket, DAMN GOOD COFFEE makes you feel like you're blasting down the Autobahn while your seat massages your back. The flavor is rich, full, and exactly what I was looking for. No bitter aftertaste, no weak imitation, just pure enjoyment. From now on, this is my absolute #1 coffee. I saw good reviews and thought I'd give this coffee a try. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The taste is somewhat similar to Douwe Egberts. There's no deep flavor and it's a bit more roasted than Mr. Barish coffee beans. Cees's definition of roasted can be a broad one, but the bag I received was already a month old. Too expensive for what it is. I saw that the regular is a favorite among many, and I don't understand that now... You might as well just get filter coffee; it's cheaper.

The tastiest coffee for us! Our father (Hans vd Heuvel/Veghel) had "discovered" this brand and the whole family has been using this brand ever since. Delicious beans and often with a special offer for a competitive price, delicious! Just placed another order :)
