Cheesy Cakes

Small cheesecake shop near city centre, on one of the small quiet side streets. Takeout only. I ordered a cake to collect and the whole process was really smooth. The owner will email you back once he's received the order, and you dont need to pay any deposit. All card types are accepted in store. The cheesecake was a decent size, but rather than a glamourous/fancy cake, it was more of a homey cake. Great for close families. The owner gave me some candles for the cake, which was nice. In terms of the cake, it was good - not the best I've had to be honest but decent. Personally, it wasn't cheesy enough, and the base wasn't buttery enough, but this is personal preference. I was told everything was homemade and fresh.

Amazing cheesecake! Really nice shop located in the Jordaan selling many different kinds of cheesecake (different flavours every day). The quality is really high, great flavour and texture. The owner is very passionate about his work and is a lovely guy to talk to. I will definitely return!

Finally decided to see what the hype is about and let me say this: the hype is REAL. The New York cheesecake alone is worth the visit. Incredible texture, creamy and insanely delicious. Best NY cheesecake I have eaten so far in The Netherlands. Spiros is very kind and friendly. You can definitely tell he has good knowledge about his craft. And this shines through in every cheesecake. Would highly recommend!

Excellent cheesecake!! You have both baked and non-baked cheesecake and all of them are delicious. You have different flavours and themes to choose from. Every time I will be in Amsterdam, you can count on my visit for sure. Spiros is very nice and explains you very well all the options. Thank you! 🥰

Was recommended to Cheesy cakes by one of my best mates. Tried the baked matcha and baked caramel and coffee. Both cheesecakes had the perfect balance of flavours, texture and consistency. The cream was creamy yet light enough not to leave a sickly feeling once eaten. Customer service was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely one of the best cheesecakes around. Wanted to try the basque but it was sold out unfortunately 😞
