Carstens Café

Cosy place for a morning coffee in Amsterdam I had the croissant and jam which tasted light and delicious In a cold day it’s a good option to sip your coffee while overlooking the busy streets outside

I stayed 4 days only in Amsterdam and visited it twice. Pastrami sandwich was brilliant. We also tried the pancakes. Staff are so friendly. Great location and d view when u se outside♥️ Will visit again, i really love the place though I forgot my mirror on the table outside😣☺️

Carstens Café is a nice place to eat at. The food was tasty, and portion sizes were good. The restaurant also is in a nice location, and the outdoor seating was a plus. The only issue I had was regarding my food allergies. I told the staff about my allergies while ordering, and while they noted them, the meal I received still contained my allergens. As soon as I got the food, I immediately told them, and they asked the kitchen for a list of ingredients used. When I confirmed I was allergic to the meal they fixed the issue quickly. When I got a new meal, I enjoyed it. If you eat here, make sure to double-check your meal if you have dietary restrictions. Overall, Carstens Café is a good restaurant in a nice location, with good food, but make sure to confirm any dietary restrictions.

First time visiting Amsterdam and came across this cafe, absolutely amazing. The food is lovely, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this cafe to anyone!

A bit on the pricey side, but: Tasty food Good coffee Unbelievably good service Excellent looking interior Overlooking Amsterdam Centraal - which makes it a good idea to sit by the window or on the terrace, should the weather allow it. We absolutely loved our totally spontaneous stop at Carsten Cafe, and would love to return to this place!
