Cafe Caribe

Calm and relaxing atmosphere. Good spot for a quick drink.

Name of the place is Caribe , I really do not see what is Caribbean here. Only quesadillas were Latin at that all. There were burn ;( but stuff did not say anything, just turned burned part on the bottom ;) you do this at home but not in restaurants where you pay for it. I waited 30 mins for one simple quesadillas. I think they need better management. Stuff was nice .. maybe next time I just stick to the coffee ? I tried stuffed quesadillas ..

The experience was not great: we had to wait 45 min for two flatbreads, which were disappointing. The service is pretty basic, and the wait way too long for the outcome.

Lovely ambiance, some really new (to me at least) interesting dishes at reasonable prices; but the usual amsterdam ‘service’ entirely dependent upon good luck and the mood of the server. When will they learn that customers need to be acknowledged and that faffing with cutlery, tea towels, flowers and all else should come second to acknowledging a customer.

Pros: Good coffee, nice design Cons: Service. service is terrible. It is typical to sit for 10 mins in not busy day waiting a waiter to take your order or waiting 10 min for a cup of coffee. You can sit at the table after other customers, the waiters will bring your order and will not bother to take away the dirty dishes. At the time of writing this review, it has been 25 minutes since I arrived and I'm waiting for coffee. Atmosphere. It used to be a local cafe, the only one in this area, with special atmosphere and many regular customer. I have been coming almost everyday for last 2 years. After redesign it became yet another touristic. You can find 4 just across the street. I don't see that regular customer anymore and also trying to find another place
