Café "De Amstel"

What a nice and gezellig bar! It's the perfect bar around the corner with good drinks, a great variety of food, and local music. Every time I pass it, it is filled, and everyone seems to enjoy it!

Best tournedos I ever had. Friendly and familial atmosphere. Very gezellig. I’ll be back!

I really like the place and I would like to visit more often, but I really feel that they don't like foreigns (non dutch speakers) they dont seem very friendly to us. We felt unwanted.

Excellent food. I would definitely recommend their ribs! It's a really cozy place.

Seriously disappointed! 😠 They spilled a glass of beer on the desk, my bag and my girlfriend. after that I realized the beer missed like 10% of its volume. I asked them to deliver a full glass, the waitress said: this is normal here. This bar had a high rank, I am not sure that I understand why… At the end they said “ don’t care”. I wish I could give 0 star!!!
