The apple pie was incredible, the service was amazing and the people working are incredibly kind. Cant wait to come back and try more food.
The food was fabulous, especially the apple tart. Foods are made from scratch and by hand. Most special was the intention behind all their efforts. Super friendly. If you are a visitor to Amsterdam, go here for apple tart, fresh beers, brunch. Thank you, de Dakduif.
Tasty brioche and a winner apple pie! We missed breakfast (apparnetly it finishes at 11 AM), but the lunch menu saved us with some great baguette and brioche options! Our picks: Brioche with smoked salmon & poached egg,: Tasy and decent sized. It comes with avocado mash. The brioche itself is lightly toasted-a small detail that keeps it from getting soggy. We also tried the ham and egg brioche, which was equally good. The bonus standout: I think this place serves one of my favorite apple pies in Amsterdam. It tastes homemade, not mass-produced, and is served beautifully at room temperature with lovely warm spices. The atmosphere is friendly, and the service is attentive. I I'll surely be back
I will say this is one of my favourite cafes in Amsterdam. It’s small , it’s cozy, it’s comfy. I can say they have The best Dutch Apple Pie in Amsterdam. It’s homemade at the cafe. The staff is so nice and friendly. Nice coffee and nice fresh mint tea as well. We visited this cafe twice during three days visit in Amsterdam.
The coziest cafe perfect for the many rainy days to come in amsterdam. Came here for the homebaked apple pie which were displayed on the rustic wooden bench tops. I was pleased with the thick slice filled with chunky apple pieces. Even though the apples were cut larger than other pies I’ve had, it still had the right amount of softness while holding its shape. Cinnamon forward flavour, more biscuit than cakey crust. Service was warm and friendly, the lunch menu looked delicious, and the range of beverages (beer on tap especially) seemed top tier as well.
