Best Bread Boba

The woman with the ponytail is incredibly kind and truly lights up the entire place. Her warm smile and positive energy make such a difference. The strawberry cube is wonderfully light and airy, with a soft, delicate cream and a distinct strawberry flavor. The unique drink with black sesame seeds was surprisingly delicious and perfectly refreshing. The chairs are very comfortable, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the music is set at just the right volume — creating the perfect setting for a sunny afternoon. And such thoughtful attention to detail — just when I needed a napkin, it appeared. Beautiful service. A cozy, welcoming place I’ll happily return to.

CUTE JAPANESE CAFE near museumplein! They have variety of matcha menu and it’s sooo goooddd (the coconut sesame taste so niceee and refreshingggg) but i’m a bit disappointed in their dessert the cake & shokupan taste too artificial (too much cream) it barely taste like matcha (i ordered matcha cake) but overall would maybe come back just for the drinks! Anddd the seating insideee (cause it’s super comfy!!) ♥️

I’ve visited twice, but unfortunately the drinks were just average, and I was disappointed when I ordered a snack on my last visit. The toast looked completely different from the photos online — it was small, hard, and quite salty. It honestly felt like a basic brioche toast with some firm cheese on top. The matcha drink wasn’t bad, but it didn’t feel worth the price. Overall, the place feels overpriced for the quality offered. The staff seemed very busy, and although ordering is done through a kiosk, they didn’t seem very attentive when customers had questions. Also, there was no restroom available.

The place is nice and offers an interesting selection of desserts and drinks. However, in my opinion, the prices don’t quite match the quality. The matcha drinks we tried (the matcha cloud and matcha latte) lacked depth and richness in flavor, which made me feel they weren’t using high-quality matcha. The cake looked appealing, but the taste didn’t live up to its appearance, it was a bit too bland and light, and lacked a distinctive or interesting flavor. Though my friend liked it, therefore 4 stars. It was also convenient to see pictures of what you were ordering. If only it all tasted as great as it looked.

The shokupan were really nice and had a fluffy texture, but I was disappointed with the filling. I was expecting tokatsu or fried shrimp to be inside the bread, but it was a simple filling with not so much crunch and flavour. Meanwhile the black sesam variant was really tasty and had a lot of flavour overall. I do like the bread and the drinks and would come again to try the other options!
