Bagels & Beans

This is a wonderful place with great food and friendly service. I have been there twice. However, the big problem is that it is almost impossible to get a table due to the fact that so many customers are sitting around working without ordering much, blocking tables for hours and hours. And being quite rude about it on top. I have tried to go for a quick lunch about 15 times as I live in the area, but I have - as I said above - unly been succesful twice. I have now given up!

When I've been to Amsterdam it has been a special pleasure eating at this place. Since the bagels have been so good, I went several days in a row to try all diffrent kinds of bagels. My favorite so far is the Tuna-Melt bagel. Furthermore the drinks such as the iced coffee taste amazing. Also the team working at the shop is just plain lovely and you can feel that everything is made with joy.

No eggs on the menu is surprising—almost a joke—for a place that focuses on bagels and coffee. That said, the lox bagel was excellent, and the avocado one was also quite good. Still, both this spot and the city overall feel noticeably overpriced.

This cafe is so sweet-looking for photography! I walked past it by chance when the staff were busy bringing out the tables and chairs. It was love at first sight, so I waited for the staff to be ready. I ordered a Mozzarella Di Bufala bagel. It was crispy, unlike the typical chewy bagel. Was it well-toasted (or well-baked in the first place)? I love this version of the bagel! 👍👍👍

Bagels Zeilstraat is my go to for excellent coffee, good food, lovely staff, excellent service. I often meet up or work at bagels. The vibe is so nice. Very dog friendly :). Love what Molly has done to this place. So happy to support another Australian business woman! Highly recommend!!!
