Rome's premier specialty coffee roaster. Light-roast single-origin beans, pour-over bar, and a sleek minimalist interior...
Such a cozy and atmospheric coffee shop. I came here twice during my three-day trip because I liked it so much. The coffee was really good and full of flavor, I’ve taken Americano and the pastry was fresh and delicious, especially lemon maricordo. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice depending on the weather. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the vibe. Just note that they charge 1 euro for table service, but it felt worth it for the experience. I would definitely come back again.
Was looking for a specialty cafe that serves breakfast and i got many recommendations for Faro. Had a queue until we got a table (maybe because it was a weekend?), but the food was really worth the wait! Very delicious breakfast and the best i had in Rome! Similarly, the coffee was very tasty and balanced ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Definitely a coffee place that i will always recommend.
Coffee was really good. Maritozzi was amazing. Pastry of the month was ok. Not the freshest. Would say don't stray from the popular pastrys. Staff were nice and friendly and also spoke some English. Waited around 15 minutes to be seated but safe to say there was a buzz around the place. Overall if you don't mind a bit of a wait and good coffee and good classic pastry this is your place.
Came across this place checking the cafes nearby our hotel - and this place just hit the spot. A true gem! After i tasted their coffee and baked goods i did not want to try anything else anywhere. We stopped by for breakfast and brunch every day of our trip. They serve fantastic and authentic coffee and even educate you about it. I tried 3 different blends they offered & they were all top notch. The waiters were super nice and polite too. Prices vary depending on whether you grab&go or sit and get table service. If you order a coffee and a baked good with service, it’ll likely be around 10–12 euros minimum — worth it tho. There can be a line out front during rush hours so keep in mind. Don’t forget to grab their business card (its real cute) and coffee blend info cards as souvenirs!!! Jul 2025
I visited Faro – Caffè Specialty in Rome and it truly felt like a coffee lover’s paradise; the moment I walked in, I could tell they take their craft seriously with an impressive selection of beans and different brewing methods beyond the usual espresso. I tried a flat white along with one of their freshly baked croissants, and both were excellent—the coffee was smooth, balanced, and aromatic, while the pastry was buttery and delicate. The place has a modern, minimalist vibe that feels a bit different from the typical Roman café, and it was buzzing with energy when I went, which added to the charm though it did get a little crowded. Prices are a bit higher than average, but the quality makes up for it, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, taking time to explain the beans and brewing styles. Overall, it was one of the best coffee experiences I had in Rome and definitely worth a visit if you enjoy specialty coffee
