One of the advantages of strolling the city streets is discovering some places not by the reviews, but by the lineup at the door! This is how my path crossed with Casto. When I say the lineup, I mean it: it’s a tiny spot only for the stuff and staff to operate the business; there is no seating area. Kind of grab&go on order. The pistachio croissant had some creme filling inside and tasted outworldly. All the pastries looked yummy tbh. Obviously, they master their gig. Hanging out with the crowd there and nibbling my goodie was one of the memorable moments of my stroll.
Hello from Thailand! I was in Madrid last week and accidentally discovered this hidden gem. It’s a small shop with no seating, and I honestly didn’t expect much at first—but wow, I was completely wrong. I ordered the pistachio bread, and it was absolutely amazing! I ended up going back again (and again 😅) to try more of their pastries, and even brought some all the way home to Phuket. I also have to mention how incredibly friendly the staff were. They even recognized me on my second visit and kindly wrapped the pastries I was taking home on my last day. Thank you for making my 6 days in Madrid even more special. Highly recommended!! 🥰🥰
Their coffee is amazing, the best I’ve had in Madrid, they use a special oat milk that was perfect. Also the pastries are out of this world, the cinnamon roll tiramisu (Marta) was our favourite. We went there twice in three days, and we are coming back again today!
Ordered the pistachio croissant which was great, tastes like a Baklava in a croissant form, slightly sweeter than I anticipated. The coffee although was milky, could be stronger or more flavorful for an iced latte. Overall a nice spot and staff is very friendly!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely incredible! I tried the tuna sandwich at CASTO, and honestly, it was the best tuna sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Perfectly balanced flavor, fresh ingredients, and the bread was just amazing — soft yet slightly crispy. You can tell they put real care into every detail. The place has a great vibe too, simple but full of character. Definitely a hidden gem in Madrid! Highly recommend
