small batch café

There really isn't anything quite like Small Batch. The owners (who are also the baristas) are some of the biggest coffee nerds I've ever spoken to, and it shows in the sheer quality of their beans and their technique to extract a stunningly rich flavor out of them. That's best reflected in their specialty drinks, like what they call "The Dirty". These unorthodox drinks are what Small Batch is in my opinion. You come in here to taste something new, something bold, enjoy the pleasant light tones of the interior, and move on with your day now that it was made better, more exciting. The drinks are paired with cakes that are all home-made, and they are just delightful! The chocolate one is a particular favorite of mine. It definitely isn't for "macbook warriors", nor is it designed for more than maybe a quick work/study session. It's not a criticism, they don't actively discourage you from being on your laptop - it's just how the place is designed. So yeah, would highly recommend coming in to try their coffee. It's definitely worth it!

Cozy little café with fantastic cakes, and you actually get a big piece, which I loved. No extra charge for milk alternatives and free tap water is a big plus. The coffee was good, just on the smaller side, and I’m definitely more of a big-cup person, but still a great spot overall!

Cozy little coffee shop with excellent service. Both staff members were warm and attentive. I really enjoyed the cake: not too sweet. I was pleasantly surprised to find hojicha on the menu, something I’ve rarely seen in Vienna. My only small gripe is the coffee portion. It felt a bit smaller than expected. Still, a lovely spot overall.

Amazing coffee, vegan cakes you'd never guess were vegan, and comfy and chic mid-century decor. Great service too. I had an oat cortado and a plum cake. Wunder gut!!!

What a beautiful hidden place! We stumbled across this lovely cafe today and had an amazing experience. The staff treated us very kindly and remained the same, even when it was super busy. You have nice outside seating and a cozy vibe inside. We had a delicious iced coffee and flat white for 9,60€! We would definitely recommend this place.
