Gambit Café and Bar

This is a funky little chess cafe and I participated in a lecture and also a tournament here. Friendly people and a mini library too, the host Domenica is very charming. It’s in a very trendy area that you might want to book accommodation in. Not much food except for events, but there is an excellent bakery next door.

Brilliant concept. You can go there any night to play chess. Even if you are alone, there will be others to play.

I was there for a poetry night, nice place, with a big room in the back, chess & a piano is present, and of course they have beer on tap.

I went to this lovely place because it was hosting a Comedy Show. Gambit is very cozy, with nice music, friendly people & good beer. The event was really fun & it felt like I was home. I will definitely come back here when I’m Prague ♟️✨

beautiful chess-themed bar & cafe. For chess lovers, but not only! They serve good coffee and have some baked goods. Have many chess boards and some boardgames too. Beautiful place led by a super kind owner!
