An absolute gem of a place. Regular visitors to Rag n Bone for drinks or lunch. In the summer the outdoor area is fantastic and the whole place is dog friendly (grab your pooch a pup cup while you have a coffee) You can also grab a quirky individual gift as well from the traders that sell their goods there. Well worth a visit if you go to Meadowhall, immensely better that the chains that are there and it’s always great to support local businesses
Can't recommend enough. The food is excellent and the staff are so friendly. There is seating outside for the better weather. The cafe also doubles up as a reclamation/antique shop and I understand they also do bee keeping lessons in the summer. The Yorkshire pudding breakfast was quirky and fantastic. Five stars all round.
We had the most amazing 3 course Christmas meal at Rag n Bone tonight. The ambience was beautiful — dimmed lights, a gentle candlelit glow, classic Christmas songs playing softly in the background — all in a cosy room that felt like stepping back in time. As for the food… genuinely, I would expect this standard at a Michelin-star restaurant. The attention to detail in every dish was exceptional. The prawn cocktail was the best I’ve ever tasted. I’m not sure what Liam put in the sauce, but it was absolutely delicious, and the glass was filled to the brim with fresh prawns. My favourite touch was the thinly sliced pickled cucumbers used as a garnish — the perfect balance of sweetness and tang. They truly made the dish. The main course was just as impressive. Every element — the meat, the vegetables, the potatoes — had its own unique flavour. I honestly haven’t tasted food so good in a long time. The sprouts, marinated in what tasted like butter with roasted chestnuts, were divine. The gravy was rich and delicious, and the chestnut stuffing was next level. Then came the pudding — all homemade — with custard you could clearly tell had been made from scratch. Every detail was crafted with care, and it really showed. The service and welcome were exceptional too; nothing was too much trouble. We left absolutely stuffed… but wow, just wow. We can’t wait to come again. If anyone is thinking about going — do it! You will not be disappointed.
We had breakfast sandwiches egg&sausage / bacon &sausage and a huge mug of tea each. Lovely seating area inside surrounded by crafts and arty pieces for sale. Plenty of parking outside and staff very friendly
Rag n Bone is a hidden gem in Sheffield which I discovered by chance driving past. Coffee and cakes as well as sandwiches and panini are awesome and the owners are friendly giving it a family feeling. Lots of quirky items to buy such as pictures, jewellery and antiques. There is a spacious outside and lovely relaxing atmosphere in the summer. Sometimes the chicken roam around. Also bees in hives are kept on the top floor and a beekeeping course is available. The coffee is from Forgemasters and top quality. I’ve abandoned Costa for this place and I always support the bespoke and independent coffee shops. Thanks I’m a regular and now bring my family and friends
