Absolutely amazed by Kin! ✨ The service was honestly out of this world — easily some of the best I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. The team really went above and beyond and made the whole experience feel so special. The food? Faultless. We ended up ordering almost everything on the menu (no regrets 😂) and it’s definitely a place made for sharing plates. We tried the truffle arancini and croquettes to start, then went for the sticky glazed tofu, house-style aubergine, katsu curry, courgette & pistachio spaghetti, and the falafel plate — every single dish was incredible. And coming from a non-veg… that says a lot. Everything was so flavourful. I’ve been to a few plant-based restaurants before, but nothing quite like Kin. Such a standout spot — would 100% recommend 🤍
I visited KIN Cafe a couple of months ago and was so impressed with the brunch that I made a point to return on my next trip to London. Unfortunately, the cafe was closed for a meeting about their upcoming refurbishment, but I was kindly directed to KIN Restaurant right next door. They are run by the same group, but the menus are completely different. The restaurant itself is quite intimate with lovely, cosy decor. It did get a bit cramped and noisy during the lunch rush, but the staff remained incredibly attentive and friendly. I opted for the Mongolian Mushroom and Broccoli, served with Japanese rice. The presentation was exquisite! The portion size was decent—not massive, but satisfying. I loved the combination of oyster mushrooms and broccoli, beautifully garnished with red peppers and angel hair chilli. The Mongolian sauce was a tad on the salty side for my palate, but it balanced out well when eaten with the rice. Overall, it was a flavourful and enjoyable lunch. That said, I think I still prefer the lighter brunch options at KIN Cafe. I'll definitely be back once their renovations are done!
This is my dream date restaurant. ☺️ Very romantic and cozy place. Loved the food and the staff was super friendly. The large plates are large indeed. The restaurant is small, so I recommend having a reservation. And the kombucha is one of the best I’ve ever had.
First time eating at KIN restaurant. Definitely worth it! The place was basically full, but the service never lacked at any point. The server was always extremely attentive, as soon as our water or drinks were near empty he would make sure to automatically bring more. The vibes in there are wonderful. Feels like a michelin star restaurant without the prices 😂 Onto the food - as you can tell from the pics, the presentation was awesome. The food tasted even better than it looked! The Tofu starter had a wonderful texture and the sauce complimented it really well, the Pistachio pasta was actually sublime and the portion size was huge, really filling! All the desserts were absolutely great, too! Even the cocktails that we tried were all fantastic. All 3 of us were really happy with the meal but the genuine cherry on top was how great the service was. Very friendly and attentive team and I really look forward to my next meal at KIN.
Everything we got was excellent. The matcha latte with almond milk was frothed creamy. The lentil soup was deliciously flavorful and somewhat reminiscent of curry, which paired well with their gluten-free bread. The KIN Hash was full of vegetables and paired well with a side of tofu, all of which was also sooooo flavorful. The halloumi on the hash was salty and grilled to perfection. Plus, the atmosphere is super cute and the employees are very personable (without being overly chatty or exhausting). I wish I could give this place more stars.
