Joe & The Juice (King’s Road) is the most inconsistent Joe & The Juice I have ever experienced. The same drink can taste completely different from one day to the next. There is no standardisation at all. Sometimes there is far too much syrup, sometimes none. Sometimes the matcha is overpowering, sometimes barely noticeable. Ice levels are random. Nothing is measured or reliably replicated. Service is equally erratic. With no visible management or clear processes, it is not unusual to wait 15 to 20 minutes for a single drink, even when the place is not particularly busy. The concept itself is fine, but the execution is not. This location clearly needs proper management, defined recipes, staff training, and a full review of its processes. Until then, ordering a drink here feels like a lottery, and too often the result is simply undrinkable.
My first time visiting the Kings Road Joe & the Juice today and i absolutely loved the food and lovely, polite staff working. Unfortunately, some customers were so rude and entitled, ruining my experience as she was verbally abusing the staff behind the till. Bless Faraah & Mya for handling themselves so well during a disgustingly rude interaction from the customers end. It was evident that the staff were overwhelmed as Faraah was clearly distressed and had to take some time out, it was clear they were completely short staffed and overwhelmed- which is ridiculous from management’s end.
I am a regular customer of Joe & The Juice and generally enjoy the experience. However this particular branch did not meet the expected standards. The staff were loud unprofessional and disruptive. They were shouting joking and using inappropriate language while customers were attempting to work and enjoy their beverages. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this branch in the foreseeable future.
I was deliberating writing a review and come to see you guys don’t seal to be chasing stars I have had my coffee here for a few mornings with out issue. Today after waiting some time I was presented with what appeared like coloured water served as coffee for a sum of 3£ I pointed this out to the barista and asked if they could make Me anoutber. Now after waiting some more “time “ the barista brought me over a cup looking at it as though to say that she does not know how to do better. I asked for a refund and walked away after waiting a total of ten minutes in an empty shop. A note for management. Perhaps it will be more profitable if you closed shop and set out a donations box aoutside
Truly, avoid this place. Wow, what a terrible service experience! Extremely slow. Staff is extremely moody, doesn’t acknowledge you. I have no idea how such a big chain does not tackle this problem. It seems that this is a pattern in reviews, and even though there seems to be acknowledgment from Joe and the Juice by the replies to these messages, nothing changes.
