Relaxed vegan eatery with a warm Scandinavian vibe offering Swedish meatballs, toasties & drinks....
Iβll admit I havenβt tried a huge range of the menu but thatβs because their toasties are unbeatable. The ham and brie is so nostalgic it reminds me of getting a toastie in a coffee shop as a kid. (but itβs vegan and so much better) The ultimate comfort brunch food, decently priced, good coffee, good pastries, and most importantly, 100% plant based :) only wish the place was bigger as it can get quite busy and youβre often struggling for a table. So I guess if youβre going for a nice sit down brunch make sure to book.
We absolutely loved the food here! Highly recommend. We visited here on our last morning in London, just a short walk away from Liverpool St station before heading to the airport - a super convenient spot.
I was looking for something healthy and vegan in central London and voila! I found this amazing vegan deli. The food, ambience and service were amazing! I highly recommend this place if you are a savoury and salad person. Unfortunately, we were not able to try the main menu because the kitchen closed around 3:15pm, but the chef still cooked us the most delicious starters! Will definitely visit again whenever I'm down in London! π
Lovely cafe selling Scandinavian vegan food with a Swede from Malmo doing the cooking. I had the Brunch which was delicious, the scrambled tofu was my favourite so good. Very friendly staff and good service.
Delicious Vegan Scandinavian in London! I had a lovely experience at DAUNS β such a cozy little restaurant with a warm atmosphere. The sourdough and toast were exceptional β probably some of the best Iβve had in London. The chef was incredibly kind and even came out to serve the food himself, which made it feel really personal and special. There were so many great options on the menu. I especially enjoyed the pickled dishes and the vegan cheese β full of flavor and beautifully presented. The restaurant is also located near a nice market area, perfect for a stroll after your meal. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys good bread, thoughtful dishes, and a welcoming vibe.
