Cafe da Giovanni

Lovely café with a cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. The matcha was really good, easily one of the best I’ve had in a while. Everything felt fresh and well made. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

Cafe Da Giovanni one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. I found this place by accident while I was in Taksim Square. I searched for “all day breakfast” and this restaurant came up and I’m really glad it did. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, even though it’s located on a busy street. The whole vibe is very cozy and almost cinematic. The staff are extremely kind, friendly, and attentive, which makes the experience even better. I initially chose two dishes, but the waitress kindly warned me that the portions were quite large. I decided to order both anyway because I wanted to see which one I would like more. Once the food arrived, I completely understood why she mentioned the portion size 🙂 Even though one dish would have been more than enough, I ended up eating both because they were absolutely delicious. I was secretly hoping I’d like one less than the other but no luck, both were amazing 😂 Highly recommended. I would definitely come back again.

Flat white is a bit dark roasted. But the vegan carrot cake is amazing. Such a cozy space. And they don’t have english menu.

Great cappuccino, well-made scrambled eggs with fresh salad, and a pleasant atmosphere with decent service. The only letdown was the music — a relaxed jazz playlist would have suited the vibe much better.

This is a nice European bistro along Yeni Çarşı Cd. in the Beyoğlu neighbourhood. They have indoor and outdoor seating and are open from 7.30am to 8.30pm daily. Staff are very friendly, service timely, prices reasonable for what is served and environs relaxing and genuinely very nice. We had breakfast here recently and were very happy with what was served. Crogue Monsieour served Turkish style and breakfast bagel were both delicious, great light meals to start the day. We also enjoyed the Americano and Macchiato served on the day. They were flavourful and complemented the breakfast dishes just fine. This was a nice breakfast and place we'd be eager to visit again next time in Istanbul.
